In April 2016, Montcrest Asset Management (formerly known as NYX Capital Corp.) purchased 30 acres of employment land located at 10534 Hurontario Street, Brampton, which is at the southwest corner of Hurontario Street and Sandalwood Parkway. The plan was to convert the land and develop a large-scale retail plaza with potential for up to 350,000 square feet of leasable space.
The site will comprise of a large retail anchor in addition to many other retail services, financial institutions, full service and fast-food restaurants, a fitness club and grocery store. With Brampton’s expected populated growth, NYX planned to provide convenient retail access to both residents and businesses.
